Update: United Welsh lie and say they have turned up for a job when they have not, two days in a row they have done this, yet no card was left, but the invisible man took a photo outside my door, a photo that I haven’t seen, I called at 2pm he was on his way, I called back at 3.30pm they say he came and nobody answered at 1.15pm 😕 how does that make any sense!!!!!!
I was in waiting both days, it is school holidays so house is full, nobody came, this is also backed by a neighbour, now when I call back they won’t answer the phones! pretty convenient on a Friday!
Hassle you every week about rent arrears even though you are not in rent arrears!
Their rent system is ridiculous when I first moved in I was told to pay a week upfront, suddenly you have to be a month upfront.
The homes are thrown up so fast the cracks start to show within months, the latches on the fire doors break therefore you can not close the doors, so much for fire doors 🤨
You have no choice but to pay for communal maintenance yet they do no maintenance!
Put my tap on backwards and been waiting around a year for bathroom light to be fixed 😔
The only time u hear of United Welsh is when they believe u owe them money!
Worse housing association by far!

Never do what they say they will
Harassing tenants all the time for no reason really. I’m a social worker and this is the worst housing association of many I have dealt with

Fuming , waited in for workmen one day last week , no show , waited inthe next day , nothing so phoned they told me they’d come but got no answer, so rebooked for this morning no show. Received a letter this afternoon that it’s now this afternoon , so why did the letter take so long to come by post so I waisted a morning ? The nasty letter also said if they can’t gain access theyl get a Court injunction and a fine of £300 so they better show up today ! What a group of liars as I know for sure they didn’t turn up last week there’s three of us in this house !

Absolutely unprofessional never keep promises that they make staff very rude they have no empathy with the people who rent from them the repair works that you report never get done they tell you okay as soon as you put the phone down after reporting a problem they block your number so you can't get through my advice to anyone thinking of renting from UW stearer clear they don't deserve the one star I put on to write a review

They Persecute tenants doing the right thing and leave the bad remnants to do what they want. I live in a 2 year old property riddled with damp and have a premature newborn that can’t come home until it is resolved

Buyer beware if you buy a property sharing a party wall or border with a United Welsh property. United Welsh have been carrying out works on two properties that sandwich ours in a terrace. Since then the contractors they have used have removed tiles off our roof (and put them back poorly, including using silicone in wet weather to wedge them down), stepped onto our extended roof to access their property and scaffolding they had erected, caused damage to fresh paintwork on our property and have constantly gaslit us with excuses about the conduct of the companies they are using to carry out the work. They have no respect for other people or other people's property. They also seem to have no control and management over the work, as we have regularly been told by the site manager for United Welsh that they 'didn't realise XYZ was happening' when it comes to work. When we complained about the conduct of contractors in regards to the damage or disrespect to our property, the site manager appeared to take the contractors word for it that they hadn't moved tiles/stepped onto our roof etc. We were also told no party wall agreement was needed for their work, which we now believe was a lie as they would have to delay work to obtain one.
I can only feel for residents in properties managed by United Welsh, if they treat tenants with as much contempt as they do people sharing a property boundary with theirs.

I had been a tenant of this housing association for a number of years. In my opinion. Unfortunately I don't have ANYTHING good to say about this housing association. Avoid these people never believe anything they say. (These people only got a star so I can post this). Very rude and insensitive
People working on behalf of a housing association that claims they will do all they can to make your place a happy and affordable when in my opinion it was the complete opposite. I'm so happy where I am now. Complete opposite to these people who treated me so poorly. A happy ending to years of battling with United Welsh.

The Working Together employment support team at United Welsh are fantastic. The help I've received from them has been amazing! They've helped me to get myself back on track and get back into work. I've attended a number of training courses and am feeling really positive about my future prospects.
