I have just called the pharmacy about the new travel service clinic. Firstly I’d like to say this is a fantastic new service but more importantly, the service I had over the phone was impeccable. I’m sorry I didn’t remember the ladies name but excellent service needs a call out and she delivered in spades! Friendly, efficient, courteous and super helpful - thank you so much!

Have been using this pharmacy for sometime. The staff are really helpful and will assist with any needs that arise. I would like to give Tiera at the Nantgarw pharmacy a very good review as she is smiling when she speaks to the customers . Wish I could give the pharmacy a 10 star rating

Excellent pharmacy. My mother has been in desperate need of her medication in emergencies a couple of occasions and this pharmacy has helped so much! Staff on phone and in person have been very helpful and polite. Busy, but staff are apologetic for the waiting times (20 mins so not really too long) and very polite.

I’ve found the help me quit service to be really helpful, my advisor has been very supportive, polite and encouraging. I could not have quit without the help of this service so thank you.

Reading other people’s reviews you have to wonder - how many prescriptions do you have to lose or make mistakes on before your dispensary license is revoked? Disgrace of a business including an owner who ignores complaints. Hopefully the GPhC takes notice

Obnoxious, insensitive, arrogant and ignorant. Never had an issue here before despite knowing about the reputation but after what I've just been forced to experience even one star is flattering. Perhaps they need to push the reset button. Arrived at 18.20 to collect a prescription.. informed dispenser of my details and that I was collecting two from doctors in same building with a desk 30 feet away. I am disabled and not very mobile, add to that have been in an obscene amount of nerve pain since the weekend due to a mix up already.. Doctors receptionist informed me prescription had not been signed so rushed off for signatures. 18.29 I leave doctors receptionist watched by chemist dispenser.. was handed prescription 1 as soon as I stepped foot in chemist saying "we close at 18:30" so can't take them. Despite me saying it is 18:30 and that he watched me struggle across I was met with "nothing I can do but Asda is still open" On way out I rightly or wrongly thanked them sarcastically and loudly as I was watched leaving at 18:30.. one of the behind the screen staff found it amusing that a disabled person was leaving them distressed and in severe pain knowing they were in the wrong and legally still open. When confronted he smirked again before hiding behind what I can only assume was an equally obnoxious owner that saw nothing, hiding behind then defending a pair of obnoxious and discriminatory employees.

Lots of negative comments on here! Yes, this is a busy pharmacy, all day, everyday because they serve a large community. Every time I use the pharmacy I have always been treated with respect and served as promptly as possible. They’re only human for goodness sake! Have a little patience for people in an underfunded, busy and demanding environment!

Terrible, came in at 1550hrs for a prescription. Still waiting 30 mins later. The pharmacist takes the busiest time of the day to do a consultation. He is unaware of the queue building up and staff are too scared to knock his door and move him on abit. This is one of the worst in Caerphilly. If you have an opportunity to go elsewhere i would say that you do so. Now I have to go get other children who will pay my fuel charges. Bloody ridiculous

DO NOT use if you're in a rush. Unbelievably slow every time I've visited. On this occasion it took them over 30 minutes to serve the 9 people in front of me. When I was finally served I was told to come back in 2 hours as they were busy. Complete shambles from top to bottom. If you don't sign up to use the robot service for repeat prescriptions you're a fool, make sure you order well in advance though.
